How do i get over a guy?

i really like this guy that. we r not exactly friends but he did come to my party. i'm legit obsessed with him. i bought a concert ticket(bamboozle) because he's going. i had a co-party with one of my friends because she's good friends with him and i wanted to see him. I know we could never go out because he's the total opposite of me. he's a headbanger and im a prep. Do i try to get over him??????????
