If I clear my Xbox 360 cache will I lose my Knights of the Nine armor on Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion?

I know this is old but I'm replaying Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion on Xbox 360 before Skyrim comes out, I haven't played the DLCs yet so I got them, I usually don't update Oblivion so I can exploit the bow and arrow multiplication cheat, the Dorian cheat.. etc. However, the DLC isn't working and I looked it up. I'm going to need to download the Xbox live update for Oblivion for the KotN quest to show up. My question is: If I download the update, finish the DLC. Then clear my cache... will the armor be lost because the update is needed for the content?
