RCA l32hd32d tv turns on and the backlight is on but i have no sounds, no picture,exc...?

Ok so i have this RCA rca l32hd32d and i was playing xbox and it started to go dark and the screen turned black exc. i had sound and this has happened to me before and all i did was turn it off for a few minutes then back on and it would work fine. However now i turned it on and i see the backlight lit and the light turned green so i know its on but i have no picture, no sound, and the only buttons that work on my tv and remote are the power buttons and nothing else. so can someone tell me how i can fix this or what?
