How can you make 24 using 8,8,3, and 3?

You have to use 8,8,3, and 3 to make 24. You HAVE to use each number once, and can only use add, subtract, multiplication, or divide. I've been trying to work this out all day, and can't find the answer anywhere. Help would be appreciated.
